His aviator sunglasses suggest a “Top Gun-meets-power-casual-club cool.” Or Beto O’Rouke’s crisp button-up with rolled-up sleeves. He’s ready to go, but not suit-jacket stuffy. Women face a need to don their power, too. Sen. Kamala Harris softens her image with a string of pearls. Sen. Elizabeth Warren emphasizes her no-nonsense plans wearing simple black slacks and jewel-tone jackets.
